Legal
Terms & Conditions
Initial draft · subject to legal review
1. Using Punching Pro League
By scanning a Punching Pro League machine code, creating an account or using www.punchproleague.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Player accounts
- you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure
- one account per person; accounts are personal and not transferable
- your public username must not be offensive, impersonate another person or brand, or mislead other players
- we may require a username change where it breaches these terms
3. Fair play
Scores must be produced by a genuine punch performed by the signed-in player on a registered Punching Pro League machine. Sessions are personal: do not start a session for someone else to punch, and do not let another person punch into your active session.
4. Score manipulation and cheating
The following are prohibited: tampering with a machine or its sensors, submitting or attempting to submit scores by any means other than a genuine punch, impersonating machine hardware, using tools, scripts or modified clients to interact with the service, exploiting bugs, and operating multiple accounts to influence standings.
We may invalidate any score, session or competition result we reasonably believe did not come from genuine play.
5. Acceptable behaviour
Use the machines safely and respect venue staff, venue rules and other players. Do not use the service for harassment, abuse or unlawful activity.
6. Competitions
Punching Pro League runs competitions such as best-punch and total-power periods. General scoring principles are published on the competition rules page. Individual competitions may carry additional entry requirements, eligibility conditions, categories or scoring rules, which are published with that competition.
7. Prizes
Where a competition offers a prize, the prize, eligibility and claim process are described in that specific competition's rules. Competition-specific prize rules apply in addition to these terms. Prizes are not guaranteed by these general terms, and we may withhold a prize where we reasonably believe the result did not come from fair play.
8. Account suspension
We may suspend or close an account, remove scores, or exclude a player from competitions where these terms are breached — in particular where cheating, tampering or abusive behaviour is involved.
9. Service availability
The service depends on machines, venues, networks and third-party infrastructure. It is provided on an "as available" basis: machines may be offline, sessions may expire without a score, and features may change or be temporarily unavailable.
10. Limitation of responsibility
Punching is a physical activity. You take part at your own risk and should follow all venue and machine safety instructions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change, add or remove features, competitions and scoring mechanics as the league develops, and we may update these terms. The current version is always available at /terms.
12. Status of this document
This is an initial draft prepared for launch. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not claim compliance with any specific regulation.
