Who we are

Punching Pro League ("PPL", "we") operates a competitive network of connected boxing machines and the website at www.punchproleague.com. This policy explains what information we process when you use the service.

Information we process

  • your account email address (used to sign in and contact you about your account)
  • your public username (the handle shown on leaderboards and competition boards)
  • an optional profile photo, if you choose to upload one
  • an optional competition category (Men's, Women's or Open), self-selected
  • your punch scores, sessions and punch history, including the machine and venue used
  • competition participation, standings and achievements
  • technical and security data needed to operate the platform, such as timestamps, error reports and basic product usage events

What is public and what is not

  • Your email address is never displayed publicly. It is used for sign-in and account communication only, and is visible to you in your own account settings.
  • Your public username may appear on leaderboards, competition boards, venue high-score lists and result screens.
  • If you upload a profile photo it may appear publicly next to your username. Uploading a photo is entirely optional.
  • You can remove your profile photo at any time from your profile settings, and your account will fall back to an initials avatar.
  • Your scores, personal best, total power and achievements may appear publicly alongside your username.
  • We never derive your public username from your email address, and you may change your username subject to availability.

Why we process this information

Account information is used to operate the service: to identify your sessions, attach the right score to the right player, run leaderboards and competitions, award achievements, prevent abuse and score manipulation, and keep the platform secure and reliable.

Product analytics

We record basic product events (for example that a machine page was opened or a punch was completed) so we can understand how the network is used. These events are linked to your player identifier or an anonymous device identifier — not to your email address — and are not used to build advertising profiles.

Service providers

We use third-party infrastructure providers to host the application, store data, send account emails and handle sign-in (including Google sign-in, if you choose it). These providers process data on our behalf in order to deliver the service.

Retention

Account, score, competition and achievement data is kept while your account exists, because it forms part of the competitive history of the league. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period.

Your choices

  • update your username, competition category or profile photo in your profile
  • remove your profile photo at any time
  • reset your password from the sign-in screen
  • contact us to ask about your account data or request account closure

Changes to this policy

This is an initial policy prepared for the launch of the service and is intended for later legal review. We may update it as the platform develops, and the current version will always be available at /privacy.
